Programs
Avaya Certified Associate (ACA®)
The ACA® is required to pursue any higher-level Avaya credential.
Avaya Certified Specialist (ACS®)
The ACS® credentials are made up of an ACA® Credential and the corresponding Specialist Product Level Elective Exam in the aligned solution area.
Avaya Certified Expert (ACE®)
The ACE is the highest level of achievement for individuals who wish to be recognized for their knowledge and skills across the Avaya portfolio of solutions. The Expert level credential identifies individuals who demonstrate design and implement competencies related to complex, converged solutions.
ACA® Technical Core Requirement
Avaya is pleased to leverage two industry standard, vendor neutral exams in the Avaya Professional Certification Program. Passing one of these exams meets the ACA® Technical Core requirement. The CompTIA Convergence+™ and CTP 2007 exams are a strategic element to provide proof of an individual’s fundamental knowledge and competency in voice data, telephony and networking technologies. These exams enhance the Avaya certification program because they cover the newest industry standard technologies and basics of convergence technology. Avaya associates, business partners, and/or customers may register for these exams to fulfill their Avaya Certification requirements. When registering for these exams, please ensure that you are looking for the Convergence+™ examination under the “CompTIA Testing” testing program, and the CTP 2007 examination under the “Convergence Technology Professional” testing program. You will need to add these testing programs to your Pearson VUE account profile.

Avaya Certification Program Agreement
When you are at a Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers and prior to starting your Avaya Certification exam, you will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions of the Avaya Certification Program Agreement. By taking an Avaya certification exam, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
