New! CCIE R&S Certification v 4.0 Exams Now Available

Effective October 19, 2009, Cisco CCIE^® Routing and Switching v4.0 certification exams are available in all testing locations worldwide. The competencies required for CCIE R&S v4.0 certification can be found on the Cisco Learning Network under CCIE R&S v4.0 written exam topics and CCIE R&S v4.0 lab exam topics in the CCIE R&S section of the site.

Cisco Announces Updates to the CCIE Lab and Written Exam

Effective February 1, 2009, Cisco will introduce a new type of question format to CCIE Routing and Switching lab exams. In addition to the live configuration scenarios, candidates will be asked a series of four or five open-ended questions on the computer screen, drawn from a pool of questions based on the material covered on the lab blueprint. No new topics are being added.

Cisco Launches New CCIE Wireless Certification and CCIE Voice Lab Exam Enhancements

The new Cisco CCIE Wireless certification assesses and validates wireless expertise. Candidates who pass the CCIE Wireless certification exams demonstrate broad theoretical knowledge of wireless networking and a solid understanding of wireless local area networking (WLAN) technologies from Cisco, the market leader in WLAN technology.
