Convergence Technologies Professional (CTP) certification validates the industry-required skills necessary to fill in-demand convergence job roles. The CTP certification exam tests core knowledge of convergence industry standards and protocols, infrastructure, signaling, basic telephony, Voice over IP (VoIP), topology convergence and the skills required to perform jobs related to these technologies.

CTP 2007 Exam a Requirement for the Avaya Certified Associate (ACA) program
The CTP 2007 certification exam is now accepted as the required Technical Core component of the Avaya Certified Associate (ACA) program.

Classroom Training
The CTP exam requires significant knowledge of data, telephony, and convergence networking. Candidates must have at least 18 to 24 months of significant experience in all three subject knowledge areas to pass the exam.
